Why bother with the third person nonsense? My name is Dan I’m a native of the Arizona desert in the Southwestern United States. Being the sixth in a line of Daniels dating back to the year 1830, the VI is a tribute to my family history.
This website is mostly used to practice my writing and record some of my thoughts on a wide variety of subjects. You’ll probably find that we disagree on a lot of issues, but I hope you’ll agree that my beliefs are sincerely held and carefully thought through.
In my life I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world while working and learning. The majority of my time abroad has been spent living in Malaysia and China, but I have a special place in my heart for all of Southeast Asia.
These days, I work as a higher education consultant for students from several countries in Asia who have dreams of studying in the West. I think that foreign students provide fresh perspectives and inject an entrepreneurial spirit into our collective student body, and that’s something we need more of.
