Christmas is right around the corner, which means the yearly ritual in which people try to out-grinch one another by bemoaning the abundance of Christmas songs on the radio has reached fever pitch. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the grownup version of 8-year-olds who think it’s cool to root for the villain in every TV show and movie they see just to get a rise out of people.

There is something uniquely American happening in the fast food burger world. In the past 5+ years there has been an absolute explosion of choices for the consumer when it comes to eating America’s most identifiable delicacy.
The best part? Just about all of them are a vast improvement on our previously limited burger options of the past 50 years. Sure, most of them are a little bit more expensive than what we’ve become accustomed to paying for burgers, but the quality seems to have more than kept pace.
We have a mentality crisis on our hands.
Everyone is either born with or develops imperfections in life. An allergy to this or that food. Difficulty sleeping. Chronic stomach issues. Back pain. Etc.
We also apparently are born with or develop a series of learning disabilities. ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and what have you. It’s actually astounding how vast the Wikipedia page just for learning disabilities. Go ahead and take a look for yourself. if you read through the entire page and aren’t convinced you’re disabled in some way, congratulations, you’re not human. [Read more…]
